Tesla Malaysia is having its walk-in recruitment day on 17 June in Cyberjaya

Tesla Malaysia
Tesla is going to launch its electric vehicles in our market and the company is already looking for talents to fill up various positions for its operation in Malaysia since earlier this year. If you are interested, then we have good news for you: Tesla Malaysia will be having an open recruitment day later this month.

According to the event’s poster, Tesla Malaysia is looking to fill up five roles through the recruitment day which is set to take place on Saturday, 17 June at Cyberview Sdn Bhd in Cyberjaya:

- Sales Advisor / Inside Sales Advisor

- Enterprise Sales Advisor

- Delivery Advisor

- Customer Support Specialist

- Service Advisor

The poster also noted that there is no pre-registration required to attend the recruitment day. Essentially, all you need to do is just bring a printed resume for the on-site interview session.

This does not mean the company has stopped recruiting people for its Malaysian division online. In fact, the listing for Malaysia on Tesla Careers website also includes the five roles that will be the focus of Cyberjaya’s walk-in recruitment day.

Alongside those positions, we also noticed several roles that were not present in April’s list. Among them includes Vehicle Technician, Parts Advisor, Service Manager, Store Supervisor, Senior Accountant, and Office Administrator.

Do note that all of the positions listed on the Tesla Careers website are based in Kuala Lumpur just in case you are coming from outside of Klang Valley. For more details on these roles, just head on to the Tesla Careers website.

Malaysia is set to become the third official Tesla market in Southeast Asia after Singapore and Thailand. The company is currently selling Model Y, which is the world’s best-selling car in Q1 this year, as well as Model 3 in both countries.

In Singapore, Model Y can be obtained with a starting price of SGD87,990 (~RM302,140) while it starts at TBH1,959,000 (~RM261,276) in Thailand. On the other hand, Model 3’s starting price in Singapore is SGD75,990 (~RM260,935) as opposed to Thailand where it starts at THB1,759,000 (~RM234,602).
