About “Forbes AI 50”
The 2023 edition of the Forbes AI 50 is the fifth edition of Forbes' collaboration with Sequoia Capital and Meritech Capital to recognize the most promising private companies to leverage AI to do business. We rank companies based on detailed information (technology, business model, customers, funding, earnings, etc.) of companies that place AI development at the core of their business. It targets private start-ups, and in 2023 will also include global companies outside of North America for the first time. The 2023 "Forbes AI 50" will include well-known companies that have been working on AI-based businesses before the arrival of the current AI boom, such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, Scale AI, AlphaSense, Vectra AI, and Databricks.
