Malaysian cinema chain GSC Movies revealed on Tuesday that it will have a fan screening of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=26663">Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine</a>&nbsp;(The Black Iron Submarine), the 26th&nbsp;<a href="https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2022-11-07/26th-detective-conan-film-opens-during-golden-week-2023/.191681">film</a>&nbsp;in the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=454">Detective Conan</a><a href="https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/lexicon.php?id=70">franchise</a>, at GSC Mid Valley in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 1, with general screenings opening on July 6. GSC Movies is also streaming an English-subtitled trailer for the film.

The film's story takes place on the Hachijō-jima island south of central Tokyo.
