1. Communication Skills 

As the basis of any form of relationship, communication also becomes a fundamental skill in a public relations career. A good communication skill enables you to communicate with both audience and colleagues to create compelling PR campaigns. 

You need this skill from the very first step of campaign planning, which is effectively communicating your ideas to your colleagues. Then you need to communicate with the company's audience with empathy. You need to understand their needs and concerns. 

After that, you can create a great PR campaign and deal with related parties, such as vendors and the government. You may also need to present issues related to your campaign to them and your audience.
