/ Fourier Rehab Affirms Commitment to Malaysians’ Wellbeing at the World Social Security Forum 2025
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 6 October 2025 – Fourier Rehab reinforced its commitment to Malaysian’s wellbeing as a Platinum Sponsor at the World Social Security Forum (WSSF) 2025, held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 29 September to 3 October.
Organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and hosted by Malaysia’s Social Security Organisation (PERKESO), the forum gathered leaders from over 130 countries. The event was officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, together with Yang Berhormat Steven Sim Chee Keong, Minister of Human Resources.
Also in attendance were Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Sri Dr. Mohammed Azman bin Aziz Mohammed, Group Chief Executive Officer of PERKESO and President of ISSA, alongside senior PERKESO leadership. The forum further welcomed the participation of Cabinet Ministers across investment, digital, women, and community development, highlighting Malaysia’s leadership in advancing global dialogue on social protection.
Throughout the five-day exhibition, Fourier Rehab introduced its latest innovations in rehabilitation technology, including the ExoMotus™ M4, a cutting-edge lower-limb exoskeleton designed to help regain mobility for patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, or other neurological conditions. With the ergonomic balance frame and secure safety harnesses, the device is able to reduce the risk of falls while enabling natural gait training. The device’s quick setup and customizable training make rehabilitation more efficient for therapists and more effective for patient recovery.
Also featured was the ArmMotus™ EMU, representing a breakthrough in upper-limb rehabilitation to aid in restoring arm function for patients with neurological impairments. Its lightweight, cable-driven system, and gravity compensation ensure smoother and safer movements. Meanwhile, haptic feedback and gamified therapy create an engaging experience that motivates patients and provides therapists with the tools to deliver more effective and personalized care.
“Technology and compassion must go hand in hand. At Fourier Rehab, we are committed to supporting recovery and empowering every Malaysian to achieve a fuller, more productive life. Our involvement in this forum reflects that commitment, and we are proud to support PERKESO and ISSA in advancing conversations on social protection globally,” said Owen Teoh, Managing Director of Fourier Rehab International Division.
Fourier Rehab remains steadfast in its mission to enhance rehabilitation outcomes through innovation and collaboration, contributing to a healthier and more resilient Malaysia in line with the nation’s social security aspirations.
